About

I build engineering organizations and the platforms they run on, from the first line of code to a public listing.

I’m a four-time CTO, now at Rebtel in Stockholm, where I’ve tripled engineering output while raising quality. Before that I led Anyfin’s technology through an EU banking license and into profitability, co-founded BrightBid and took it public, and built NuvoAir’s medical-grade platform from day one. I’m at my best where the bar is highest: I’ve taken engineering through banking and medical-device regulation (DORA, PCI-DSS, FDA, EU MDR), and I bring the same rigor and speed to any product. I work with CEOs and boards on strategy, and I still build, hands-on with AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code and Codex.

  1. CTO at Rebtel

    June 2026 – PresentStockholm, Sweden

    Leading technology through the shift from voice calling to mobile top-ups and new cross-border services.

    • Rebuilt product and engineering as cross-functional feature teams that own their areas end to end, with QA and Operations folded in.
    • Tripled engineering output while raising quality.
    • Set the AI strategy for engineering, and lead the modernization of a 20-year-old technology estate.

  2. CTO at Anyfin

    Feb 2024 – Mar 2026Stockholm, Sweden

    Led technology as a European consumer finance company became a fully licensed EU digital bank.

    • Set the technology strategy behind profitability and the EU banking license, both reached in July 2025.
    • Cut infrastructure and IT costs by 30% through modernization and vendor consolidation.
    • Launched two business lines, Insurance and Banking-as-a-Service, and owned the technology budget and P&L.

  3. CTO at BrightBid (STO: BRIGHT)

    Nov 2021 – Jan 2024Stockholm, Sweden

    Co-founded the company and took its AI ad-optimization platform from prototype to a Nasdaq First North listing.

    • Architected the AI products, from campaign automation to a real-time ML bidding engine, that became the core product and main revenue driver.
    • Led the engineering, security and compliance work for a reverse IPO with Speqta, completed in July 2023.
    • Built a global product and engineering team across Stockholm, London, Oslo, Copenhagen and Manila.

  4. CTO at NuvoAir

    Apr 2017 – Dec 2021Boston, USA / Stockholm, Sweden

    Built a digital respiratory health platform from day one, architecting everything from Bluetooth medical devices to the cloud.

    • Shipped three medical devices (Air Smart, Air Next and the Aos inhaler sensor) and seven apps, including NuvoAir Cough, my first AI product: cough detection on the patient’s phone.
    • Owned FDA compliance from the start: 21 CFR Part 11, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, EU MDR, NHS DTAC and HIPAA.
    • Scaled my engineering and data science team from one to 30+ people across the US and Europe.

  5. Lead Engineer at Pingdom

    Jun 2015 – Mar 2017Stockholm, Sweden

    Led iOS and Android development, and won the company’s first hackathon with a Siri voice assistant.
